Breakfast is at the hotel. 9:00 Am, You will be picked up at your hotel and transfer to Muong Hoa valley (6km), one of the most scenic valleys in the North Western of Vietnam. Drive slowly through a narrow road between two mountain ranges of Hoang Lien Son and Den Thang to reach the valley. It is a farmland to quite a few ethnic minority groups and thus housing the largest colony of terraced paddy fields in the area. Enjoy the stunning view of the imposing mountains and of the terraced fields’ soft contours embracing the hillsides, take photos then from your entry point to the valley, walk through the valley and cross its other side to get Lao Chai village of the Black Hmong minority people where you will have a chance to observe its inhabitants, the Giay people belonging to a very small minority group only found in Northern highlands of Vietnam.

Enjoy a rest and fine lunch in a local house .
After lunch, continue to hike for 3 km over hills and through a bamboo forest. A short stop will be made at a waterfall before getting into Giang Ta Chai village, home to the Red Dao ethnic minority people. Chat with villagers and observe their daily life activities. Car will pick you up to return to Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.

Have breakfast at the hotel. Then you travel by car to Ta Phin where you can meet Red Dao people (the most colorfull people in Sapa). You will walk around Ta Phin village where 2 ethnic groups, Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities, live their own way with no cultural mixture. Experience how different they are in many ways by visiting their house and interact with the locals. In the afternoon, take your time for a herbal bath. Red Dao people will boil a collection of fresh and dried plants and bark in a water filled giant wok, over a charcoal fire. Then this water will be transferred to a wooden barrel tub and ready for you to come and soak your bones in the Dao traditional bath and wash away your aches, pains, worries and woes all at once in the privacy of a separate bathhouse. Afterward we will be picked up again by our private awaiting van and transferred to sapa to catch the Limousine bus back to Hanoi. Tour end.
