Day 01

Hanoi - Mai Chau cycling

Go to Mai Chau

Accommodation: Homestay

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

08:00: Depart from Hanoi to Mai Chau – an idyllic valley home to many hill tribes including the Dzao, Muong and Thai. Arrive in Mai Chau around noon, check in your room and enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, cycle to explore Mai Chau beautiful ethnic villages including Na Thia, Nhot, Pom Coong, Lac and Chieng Chau villages. Be welcomed by the friendly local people, talk with them and discover their traditional culture. Total cycling time is around 2 – 3 hours on flat village paths. Take it all in: the spectacular scenery of Mai Chau and the relaxed rhythm of local life.

Back to your homestay for evening enjoyment, you may choose to take part in a traditional dance show with Ruou Can (a local wine), a cooking class. Overnight at homestay

Day 02

Hiking and rafting in Mai Chau

Visit minority villages to learn more about Thai culture and daily living

Accommodation: Homestay

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast at your homestay, you will be picked up and transferred to Mai Ha village.

Then, we explore Mai Chau beautiful ethnic villages including Văn Village, rafting experience in Mai Hịch village.

Have lunch at a local family.

In the afternoon, we walk around Nhót & Nà Phòn villages.

Day 03

Mai Chau market & biking

Visit the local market of ethnic people and do a half day biking tour

Accommodation: Local House

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

08:00 Departing from Mai Chau Home

08:45 Reaching to Pa Co Market (Only open on Sunday), visiting Pa Co Market to experience the lives of red and blue H’mong ethnic people

09:30 Tourists travel to Pa Co by car, stop to walk and visit the villages along the road and Pa Co Village and participate in the daily works of farmers here depending on the seasons)

12:00 Come back to Mai Chau Home for lunch.

14:30 Start our cycling from the homestay

15:00 Stopping to explore Cha Village

15:30 Exploring Mai Chau beautiful ethnic villages including Cha Long, Tòng Đậu.

16:00 Stopping over at Nhót Village, dropping in on a Thai family – Mr. Điệp’s house, be welcomed by the friendly local people, talk with them and discover their traditional culture and stilt house. Enjoying local fruit and tea, try weaving, embroidering, pounding rice, watch Kenglong performance and how to make wine.

17:00 Afterwards you can stroll around the hamlets before get back your homestay.

Mai Chau - Hanoi

Say goodbye Mai Chau valley

Accommodation: Not included

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch,

This morning, you can explore the surroundings on your own.
Lunch will be served before driving back Hanoi. End of the tour.
