Stop shopping around, and book your trip with Asia Top Travel TODAY. I get it. It can be nerve-wracking to send thousands of dollars to a travel agency several continents away. However, if you spend only 5 minutes reading a handful of the hundreds of 5-star reviews, your concerns should be assuaged. Nonetheless, here is our appraisal of their superlative service and value.

Ms. Hara was our representative at Asia Top Travel, and she provided flawless customer service. It can be challenging to coordinate four-weeks worth of plans when working with a 12-hour time difference. However, with a combination of WhatsApp, video calls, and email, we finalized our entire itinerary in only a few days of back-and-forth correspondence. I sent messages that arrived to her at odd hours in Hanoi, and I certainly didn't expect a response until her next work day. However, more often than not, I received a response moments later.

Moreover, she adjusted the standard itinerary to account for the rainy / typhoon / hot seasons in the various places we visited, and she made adjustments so that we could visit two sets of friends who reside in non-tourist locations. The specificity of the final itinerary was phenomenal and we knew exactly what we would be getting for our purchase price. Speaking of price / value, while we are an adventurous family and have planned DIY travel in a dozen countries, it is worth every penny to have Asia Top Travel take care of all the details for you. It is a truly full-service, personalized, travel experience. You step off the plane, and there is native-speaker guide waiting at the baggage claim to bring you to your private van, help you check you into your hotel, and get you ready for the next day's adventures.

The Bamboo Circus, available in either Saigon or Hoi An, is a trivial additional expense, and a must-see. Feeding, riding, and giving a mud bath to elephants in Chang Mai will be unforgettable for you. Our overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay, and a few days of resort time at Lang Co Beach was a great way to recharge from a few weeks of sightseeing. Unless you absolutely cannot tolerate food from outside of your homeland, pay for a guided evening food tour in EVERY city that it is available. The night tours are very reasonably priced, and your guide will help you find culinary gems that you didn't even know existed. The surcharge for premium accommodations is not all that significant, so a five-star hotel with a rooftop pool will likely not break the bank.

Basically, I regret nothing about our entire trip, and I credit Asia Top Travel, and Ms. Hara, for the unforgettable experience.
