Day 01

Hanoi arrival

Being personally welcome at the airport

Xin chao! Welcome to Vietnam. Upon arriving in Hanoi, our tour guide and driver will personally meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is time at leisure.

Day 02

Hanoi City tour

Full day Hanoi city tour

8:00 Am: Meet your driver and local guide at your hotel lobby. This day you will visit Ho Chi Minh complex that includes Mausoleum, outside Presidential palace, Ho Chi Minh House-On-Stiles and One pillar pagoda. After that we will visit the Temple of Literature that was originally built as a temple to Confucius, this is the site of Vietnam’s first University dating back to 1070. The temple highlights the importance that Vietnamese society place then and now on education.
Have a lunch with set menu of typical Hanoi cuisines at a nice local restaurant.

Afternoon, you visit Museum of Ethnology: This museum is widely acknowledged as the best in the country and has an extensive display dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 Ethnic minority peoples. As well as the comprehensive array of exhibits inside, there are also traditional tribal houses reconstructed within the ground.

Then, we back to the center of Hanoi to visit Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake: The Ngoc Son temple is set on a tiny island on the Hoan Kiem Lake, its history dating back to the 13th century. The temple is reached by crossing the The Huc Bridge which literally means the Place Touched by Morning Sunbeams while Hoan Kiem Lake is the local point of the city and the source of many legends.

You enjoy a 45 min Cyclo Tour through the Old Quarter where was also known as the 36 streets. This bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Originally each of the 36s names’ was related to the products being sold there. It’s a great place to explore on foot with numerous photo opportunities.

Before back to your hotel, we will enjoy a 45 minute water puppet show at the indoor Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre.

Day 03

Hanoi - Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van - Sapa

Travel to Sapa by Limousine van

Accommodation: Hotel in Sapa

07.00 - 07:30am You are picked up from your hotel, travel to Sapa by limousine van. It takes about 5 - 5.5 hours transfer to Sapa.

12.30 - 13.00: Upon arrive to Sapa, you are met by our Sapa local guide and driver with private car who will take you to a local restaurant for lunch. After having lunch they take you to hotel for check in and freshen up.

14.00 You enjoy a trekking tour to Lao Chai village and Ta Van village. There will be a lot of good photo opportunities on the way go downhill to Muong Hoa valley. You begin the trekking on a fairly rocky road through Lao Chai village, a Black Hmong’s ethnic village (you need a good walking shoes for this day). Then continue to Ta Van village of Giay ethnic minority people. Terrace fields are great for photographing. You will also visit local people’s house and schools en route.

17:00 Return to Sapa by mini van. You are free at leisure. Dinner is on your own cost.

Day 04

Sapa - Silver waterfall - Fansipan cable car - Hanoi

Conquering Mount Fansipan by cable car

Meals: Breakfast, lunch

8:00 Am: Our local guide and driver will take you to Silver Waterfall which is located about half an hour from Sapa town. Then we continue driving uphill to the Heavens Gate, the highest stretch of road in Vietnam as well as the provincial border of Lao Cai and Lai Chau provinces. Enjoy fantastic view over the valley(If the weather is good)!

Then drive to the cable car station for boarding a cable car ride to Mount Fansipan - 3,143m high. Enjoy the view from the highest point of this incredible mountain. The lush green and subtropical vegetation makes this mountain really very beautiful. Take some pictures for unforgettable experience from the top. After taking scenery then get cable car back to Sapa.

15.00 say good bye Sapa. You get back to Hanoi by limousine van. Arrival to hotel in Hanoi at around 20.00 - 20.30pm. You check hotel and have time at leisure.

Day 05

Hanoi - Ha Long Bay

12:00 CHECK-IN: Warmly welcomed by Signature Team in Halong International Harbour. Complete the luggage check-in procedure at the waiting lounge before boarding for the cruise.

12:45 ONBOARD: Transferred to the Signature Cruise by a tender boat. The Cruise Manager and the whole crew member welcome you onboard, a safety briefing and clearing out the itinerary will be delivered while you are enjoying our signature welcome drink

13:00 HAPPY LUNCH: Lunch is served at our cozy restaurant. As the cruise departs towards Bai Tu Long Bay – a hidden gem of Halong Bay Complex, absorb yourself in the gorgeous scenery and famous sights of limestone

14:45 ACTIVITIES: The cruise stops at Vung Vieng Floating fishing village, a wealthy fishing village and had its reputation for culturing pearls. Here we have time to discover the life and culture of fishing people by kayaking.

16:00 RELAX: Back to the Signature Cruise to enjoy your free time. Massage is available -please book in advance with the Cruise Manager.

17:00 SUNSET PARTY: Enjoy freshly prepared snacks and your favorite drinks while waiting for sunset on Halong Bay. Take advantage of the Happy hours “Buy 1 get 1 free” drink while the sun is giving way to stunning twilight.

17:30 SUNSET PARTY: A Cooking Demonstration of traditional Vietnamese dishes will be organized by Athena Head Chef

19:00 DINNER: A fusion set menu will be served to warm up your stomach after a long active day

20:30 CHEERFUL EVENING: Freetime for evening activities: film entertainment, mini-games (in the dining room); squid fishing; massage... The Cruise Manager will be there to support you.

Day 06

Ha Long Bay - Hanoi

Return to Hanoi

06:30 TAI-CHI CLASS: Good morning the Bay by joining Tai-Chi Exercise on the sundeck in 30 minutes whilst cruising to “Thien Canh Son” Cave

07:00 BREAKFAST : A light breakfast is ready to serve at the restaurant

08:00 VISITING CAVE: Visit “Thien Canh Son” cave - Thien Canh Son Cave is comprised of three caverns in total, each one strewn with stalactites and stalagmites. 200 steps is waiting for your legs, ready to beat it

09:00 CHECK OUT: Come back to Signature cruise, relax and pack the luggage. Leave the luggage outside the door. Signature team will collect and get them ready on the Pier.

09:30 BRUNCH: Enjoy a brunch buffet at the restaurant after check-out while cruising toward the port

10:45 GOODBYE: Transfer by tender back to Halong International Habour and disembarkation.
