Day 01

Vientiane Arrival

Meet your guide at the airport, check-in at your hotel and relax

Upon arrival at the international airport, you are warmly welcomed by the local guide and transfered to the hotel for check-in. You are free to relax after the long flight.

Day 02

Vientiane

Enjoy a guided tour of Vientiane and the rest of the day at your own pace

Today, spend time to explore the capital city of Laos. In your Vientiane tour, you will visit:

Buddha Park: home to hundreds of Buddha statues and an enormous Buddha image which is 40m in length. Take your time to explore its unique status with different size and shapes of human, Godheads, and animals.

Vat Sisaket: which is famous for not only its cloister wall storing thousands of tiny Buddha images but also for its beautiful architecture and layout with history dated back to 1818.

Vat Phra Keo: which was built in 1565 is one of the most impressive and interesting temples in Vientiane. It previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha image.

Pha That Luang (built 1566, reconstructed 1930): it is the most important Laotian religious and national monument. The temple has a unique architecture reflecting Lao culture and identity, becoming a symbol of Lao nationalism.

Patuxay: the memorial monument – was built in 1957 and is the most prominent landmark in the city. The architecture of the monument was inspired by the architecture of Triomphe in Paris and combined with typical Lao motifs. From the top of the monument, you can see an excellent panoramic view of the city.

Head back to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace.

Day 03

Vientiane - Vang Vieng

Discover the small town of Vang Vieng near the beautiful Song River

Enjoy a breakfast at the hotel.

Head north to the sleepy riverside hamlet of Vang Vieng, a small town next to the Nam Song River that is surrounded by jagged limestone karsts. En-route, stop to visit Ban Bor, a village where natural salt is produced.

On arrival in Vang Vieng, check-in at your hotel and relax.

In the afternoon, take a small boat cruise on Song river, through the Bank of the river and paddy fields to the Tham Jang caves with the beautiful and famous limestone caverns surrounded by forest. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to see the local life in the village and learn about their daily lifestyle. You will have the chance to refresh yourself thanks the small natural pool in front of the caves.

Return to the town in the late afternoon.

Day 04

Vang Vieng - Luang Prabang

Transfer from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang through the spectacular countryside

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, transfer by car from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang, passing through the pristine countryside of Laos. This is a long drive (approximately 4.5 hours) with the spectacular view of Lao rain forest and the mountain ranges. Along the way, stop for photo shots and immerse yourself in various hill tribe villages. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Day 05

Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave

After more visits in Luang Prabang, continue your immersive cultural experience in Pak Ou Caves

Enjoy a short drive to visit Vat Xieng Thong or Temple of the Royal City - one of the most important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art.

Continue your immersive cultural experience to Wat Visoun – an unusual structure which represents the earliest Lao style.

Afterwards, transfer to the pier and board on a long-tailed boat for an upstream cruise. During the cruise, you will be treated a stunning of nature along the river. From the distance, you can see limestone cliffs where the hidden Pak Ou Caves are located. The cave is home to thousands of Buddha statues which make the region a revered one. Take your time to explore numerous images hidden in the cave.

Then, make your way back to the city. En-route, stop to visit Ban Xang Hai village to learn more about the making process of the traditional Lao rice whiskey. It is a great chance to taste its unique flavor. Move onto Ban Xang Khong village - famous for its wood paper and Lao silk weaving.

Return to your hotel for relaxing.

Luang Prabang - Return
